Free updates You don't ever need to be out of date! A round-the-clock update service for subscribers ensures that you always have the latest information on fixed camera locations. You can update your Inforad simply by connecting it to your computer, as long as it has access to the Internet. These updates are free for the first year from the date of purchase and can be renewed annually for only £24.99 (inc. VAT) per annum.
What Camera's Does Inforad Detect? Inforad gives you advanced warning of: Gatso's, Traffic Light Cameras, Truvelo, Digital Gatso, SPECS, Night-time speed cam. As well as these cameras the system allows you to add your own locations at the touch of a button such as well known mobile speed camera locations, low speed areas such as schools and accident black spots.
Why is laser warning not included? A good question. Laser is currently legal in the UK but there is a good chance that it won't be in the future because of the up and coming Road Traffic Bill. So rather than sell you something that could be illegal after you have bought it, Inforad is designed without laser so you won't have to throw it in the bin if and when the legislation changes.
Suitable for all vehicles including 24V heavy goods and commercial vehicles
Does you car have a UV or Comfort Windscreen?
These front windscreens have an ultra thin film of silver (you can't see it!) running through your windscreen to reflect away UV rays from the sun. Good news for your car's interior, bad news for any GPS based system because it blocks the GPS signal to the antennae.
However it's not all bad as we have a solution An external antenna priced at £24.99 that simply plugs into the side of the unit allows any car that does have this feature to run Inforad without any problems.
How do I know if my car has this comfort windscreen?
It is usually only installed in high-spec or luxury cars, but if your not sure give us a call on 01202 519675. But remember even if you do have it, the problem is easily solved with the additonal antennae.
Dimensions: 100mm (length) x 70mm (width) x 30mm (height).
